Overview
Invisalign and SureSmile clear aligners may be an option for patients who want a more discreet way to improve alignment. Apex Dental Centre can assess whether aligners fit your bite, goals, and lifestyle.
How clear aligner treatment works
Clear aligner treatment uses a sequence of custom trays that gradually move teeth. Patients wear the aligners as directed and remove them for eating, brushing, and flossing.
Not every orthodontic case is best treated with aligners, so the first step is a clinical assessment and records.
- Digital assessment and treatment planning
- Removable clear aligner trays
- Progress checks during treatment
- Retainers after active tooth movement
A discreet orthodontic path
Clear aligners are popular with teens and adults because they are less visible than braces and fit into many daily routines.
Your orthodontist will explain wear time, cleaning, refinements, and retention before treatment begins.

Questions About Invisalign & SureSmile
Is Invisalign or SureSmile right for me?
Suitability depends on your bite, crowding or spacing, tooth shape, gum health, and treatment goals. An assessment is needed before recommending aligners.
How many hours per day do aligners need to be worn?
Clear aligners usually need to be worn most of the day and night, except when eating, drinking anything other than water, brushing, and flossing.
Will I need retainers after clear aligners?
Yes. Retainers are typically needed after orthodontic treatment to help maintain the new tooth positions.
